They have a wide range of facilities from basic camping, to sites with full water and electric service for short-term stays. It also offers RV sites, tent sites, and hotel rooms complete with private bath, air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee maker, and cable TV.
The resort spans over 190 secluded acres. Cabins add living rooms and kitchenettes. Established in 1945, Sunny Rest is a tranquil, clothing-optional resort located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Modest rooms provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and coffeemakers, as well as minifridges. There are some year-round homes for those ready to “get away from it all”. Members can rent lots, or cabins for seasonal stays. Their activities calendar is jam-packed throughout the summer. Enjoy a game of tennis on their full-size professional courts. The resort has a large heated swimming pool, conversation pool, hot tub, restaurant, nightclub, and pool bar. The resort is open from May through September. Camp, grab a secluded comfortable cabin, a motel room, or bring your RV. You need to be a member to get a decent rate. Sunny Rest Resort has been “Partying Naked Since 1945.” It’s a “clothing optional resort”, which is admittedly a bit of an old-fashioned idea.
